Sam and Louise Roebuck started their first print shop in downtown Melbourne in 1969. Good Impressions Printing opened in 1990 at 1696 Aurora Road, with their son Mike and his wife Grace coming on board soon after, making it a true family business. In 1995 Mike took over operations from his Dad.
Mike moved the business into the new digital age of printing, while keeping the “old school” techniques in service too. Mike is a highly-qualified printing professional. He has extensive design and printing experience. Come by and consult a true “hands-on” professional.
Mike’s personal attention comes from being a family-owned and operated business. He knows you are looking to him to help build your business, celebrate an event, or share with your community… so he shares the same commitment you have to make sure it is the best it can be!
The goal is to be your one-stop print shop.

What is the best file format for submitting a document for printing?
The portable Document Format (PDF) is generally the preferred file format for submitting a document for printing as it works with virtually all professional printing and digital output devices. We also accept .jpg, Publisher files, and all Adobe based product files.
What is a bleed?
When the printing runs off the edge of the sheet and has no border.
What is a proof and why is it needed?
A proof is a one-off copy of your printed document for your inspection to make sure that the layout and colors of your document are what you intended. When you approve a “Final Proof” it allows for checking on all those last-minute changes. One thing that can make proofs difficult is the subtle changes that occur in different monitors when it comes to colors.
